Driving towards this year’s BWA Championship Show in Stroud, I remembered with fondness the same show in previous years.
My first was at Solihull, when, together with my Mum and Dad (who were driving!) I had left home at 2:30 in the morning, caught the 3am ferry and made my way up to my first all- Waterfowl Show. Back then I had team of Call Ducks, and remember having them all in a pen in our living room to save having to collect them at that time in the morning!

The 2016 Federation show was approached with some trepidation after hearing the news that there had been an outbreak of Avian Influenza in Lincolnshire on the afternoon of the day before the show.
