Honestly speaking, we had never tried the typical Parsi food or even experienced the visuals of an authentic Irani café before, but having a number of friends praising the unique combination of classic Bombay and Irani flavours, we decided to finally give this cuisine a try— before the barrage of burger and pizza giants slowly push the quaint, yet unconventional joints into oblivion. So, when a visit to SodaBottleOpenerWala knocked on our door, we were ecstatic.
We understand that everyone has their own expectations before visiting a place, but we decided to leave the horses of our imaginations home and enjoy the brand new flavours. We received a warm welcome by the staff, and it took us only a moment to realise why people are a big fan of the franchise. Located in the heart of Khan Market, this place perfectly matches the bustling vibe of the city known for experimenting with cuisines.
