Get ready to strap yourself into the sexiest sports sedan that’s on its way.
A mere few seconds. Yes, that’s all it took for the Kia Stinger to, er, sting me. I am besotted by this sleek sports sedan… actually calling it a sedan is a stretch, as the two rear doors have been so seductively draped in that it actually seems to be a four-door coupe.
Even as my eyes lapped up the gorgeous details, I did not waste any time, put it in ignition, as I was on mission: of being the first man in the country to be behind the steering wheel.
But first, why are we driving this car? The answer is, because it’s a Kia and as you might know, after making a big splash at the Auto Expo this year, Korea’s oldest car making company will be selling its cars in India from next year. The Stinger is its new flagship.
As I opened the long and sleek door to get in, another intriguing detail about the Kia Stinger caught my eye-its interiors. If you are touching it blindfolded you might think it is a high-end German car.
The basics are spot on. You sit low and the steering juts out with a perfect driving position. The interior is worth every penny that you pay for. I appreciate the jet turbine like air vents, the TFT dials and cabin.
