Sieler a unique talent in many ways
Dolphin Digest|November 2020
Little was known of Zach Sieler when he joined the Miami Dolphins last December after being claimed off waivers from the Baltimore Ravens beyond the fact he attended Division II Ferris State.
Sieler a unique talent in many ways

What we’ve come to find out through the first several weeks of the 2020 season is that Sieler is a rather interesting fellow who hunts hogs and alligators and lives in an RV during the regular season.

Oh, and we’ve come to find out that Sieler also can play a little bit.

Fact is, he’s been one of the biggest finds for the Dolphins since they began rebuilding their roster.

Sieler has made an impression since the start of the regular season and in the process has seen his playing time increase on a steady basis.

When defensive end Shaq Lawson was sidelined for the game against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5, Sieler earned his second career start, played a season-high 44 snaps and recorded a sack.

“I’m not short or anything, but he’s a 6-6, 315pound guy who plays with an outstanding motor,” defensive line coach Marion Hobby said. “His motor never stops running. He gives such a great effort. His technique and stuff, he’s really active in there. He did earn his playing time. He kind of jumps out at you on game day.”
