We were fortunate to witness a truly dominant performance this season by cornerback Xavien Howard. It wasn’t only his 10 interceptions, tying a longstanding team record and the most in the NFL since 2007, it was the way he played with such confidence and at such a high level of efficiency.

Howard admitted after the season-ending loss to the Bills that the knee injury and subsequent surgery he had last offseason was “worse” than a torn ACL. It was a long, arduous battle to return to top form.
