5 Ways To Ease Bloating

Bloating is caused by excess gas in the intestines and can be exacerbated by hormones, an unhealthy diet, and particular foods. It can be extremely uncomfortable and leave you feeling exasperated and longing for your natural silhouette.

1 KEEP CONSTIPATION AT BAY

Constipation is often a result of eating too little fiber, not drinking enough water and a lack of physical activity – and it can lead to bloating. Boost your water intake (about six to eight glasses a day) to help flush your system and increase your fiber intake. Women should be consuming at least 25g of fiber a day, so incorporate more whole grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, and legumes into your diet. Exercise can also relieve constipation, as it helps gas pass more easily through the digestive tract. Even a quick walk around the block can help alleviate bloating, although experts recommend at least 30 minutes of brisk exercise five times a week for maximum results.

2 BE AWARE OF MEDICATION SIDE-EFFECTS
