Standing at 226m high, Swissôtel The Stamford is one of the tallest hotels in Southeast Asia. Since it opened in 1986, it has become an iconic landmark of Singapore, right in the heart of the City Hall area, with Changi Airport just a 20-minute ride away and MRT stations around the corner.
But the hotel, which is popular among affluent modern business travellers, isn’t resting on its laurels. It has just completed the first phase of a comprehensive multi-million dollar renovation. The result of this: new Premier Rooms and Premier Harbour View Rooms, part of a total of 1,261 guestrooms and suites that will undergo a total overhaul by the end of 2018.
