5 Tips To Increase Your Chances Of Getting Pregnant

1 EAT LIKE A MEDITERRANEAN

As cited in a recent The Associated Press report, “Women who follow a diet rich in fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, and olive oil may stand a better chance of falling pregnant through in-vitro fertilisation (IVF),” according to researchers who wrote in the journal Human Reproduction, this past January, 2018. “A study of 244 women enrolled for IVF in Athens, Greece, showed that those younger than 35 who followed a so-called ‘Mediterranean’ diet for six months before IVF, were more likely to have a healthy baby.” How much more likely? “Women in the group had a 65 to 68 percent greater likelihood of achieving a successful pregnancy and birth compared to women with the lowest adherence to the Mediterranean-style diet.” So stock up, accordingly!

2 MONITOR MENSTRUATION

Irregular menstrual cycles are an indicator that something’s not right. If this is accompanied by increased facial and body hair growth, unexplained weight gain or difficulties in getting pregnant, seek professional help.
