Contributing fashion director Desmond Lim takes our Singapore Tatler friends through the Burberry February 2017 collection, which was inspired by sculptor Henry Moore. Daphne Chen-Cordeiro reports.
THAT’S WHY IT’S CALLED the half-tuck,” explains contributing fashion director Desmond Lim, as he folds just one side of the model’s shirt hem, and tucks it in. One can always score a styling hack or two at every style workshop that Desmond helms and today, he’s advocating the notion of a half-tuck, which works for both men and women who might like the slouchy, relaxed look of an untucked top, yet prefer to reveal the hint of a nipped-in waist for a proportionate silhouette. Our Singapore Tatler friends—the best audience that anyone can ask for—are listening intently and asking questions like star students in class.
