Perpetually in Motion
Some watches are so iconic in their design that the logo is almost redundant on the dial. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and the Patek Philippe Nautilus spring to mind, while independent watchmaker H Moser & watches are instantly recognisable thanks to the fume-coloured dials. The brand excels in upending traditional norms, and its Endeavour Perpetual Calendar in Cosmic Green is the perfect example: there is no indication on the dial that this watch features a very important complication, the perpetual calendar. The minimalistic dial has nary an excessive feature in sight – eagle-eyed connoisseurs will spot the short central month hand, while the counter at six o’clock showcases the seconds. this being H Moser & Cie, it’s certainly not dull, especially with the stunning green fume dial.
