The striking behemoth is the namesake of its parent company and is on a mission to carry out environmental research expeditions in order to “confront Earth’s greatest challenges”, according to Olivera. Earth 300’s aim is to gather a new vanguard of scientists – Earth’s custodians if you will – and aid them as they research environmental conservation and worldwide efforts to reverse climate change.
Featuring naval architecture by NED-Project, it spans an insane 300m, which makes it even longer than the 269m Titanic. The majority of that real estate has been dedicated to 22 state-of-the-art laboratories with scientific equipment and technology straight from Silicon Valley.
