Unlike most of us who crib about Usaturation point in our jobs without looking for solutions which may come in the form of work genre change, he took the risk.
He could let go a stable career which included high profile posts in the US and UK. From IT, he jumped to a totally unorganised sector- real estate. But that the bet fetched him a great catch. Today he not only runs divergent trades but also is in a position to provide employment to many. Mr.T.S.N.Raju, is the man behind YTR Enterprises, which has its presence in construction, IT, supply trade and risk management service.
Tell us about your journey
After obtaining bachelors degree in engineering in mechanical stream, I worked with the IT and in business development at various mega firms both in India and abroad. After working for over 15 years in the field, I felt saturated. I decided to take up something new which has a market too. Construction business appeared to be the best option. Though I was about to sail in uncharted waters, I went ahead and floated my company - YTR Enterprises. It is the parent company launched in 2007. It started off with construction and then moved to risk services. Later, we diversified to IT, with the last addition being supply trade in Hong Kong.
What are the real estate projects the group has completed so far?
YTR Infra Pvt. Ltd is into residential and commercial projects. There are two projects. Put together there are around 220 apartments in Anandapuram and Vizianagaram. We own the land and are developing the residential units on it. Both are gated communities with state-of-the-art facilities like club house, play area, swimming pool etc.
