Why did you start so early?

I had been into graphic designing and photography right from my school days. It was not professional. I bought my first DSLR when I was studying Intermediate. The wedding photography market had started picking up when I was in college. I knew it was the right time & jumped into it. That was how the brand Pixel Army came into being. My friend and I initially offered photography services and later added a branding Vector.

Tell us about its progress.

My partner’s friend gave us our first chance to do an event photography. One thing led to the other as we improved over the years in service, creativity and delivery. We learnt to handle both camera and clients.

On covering 300 weddings...

It is an enriching journey. These weddings have become a part of our lives. We get so involved with our clients that they are now our friends. Most of our wedding assignments come through our old clients, proving that word-of-mouth publicity works.

Did you think it would be this big?

For sure! Success is sure to follow, if you are passionate. We started early to be ready for the big market. I also strongly believe in zero expenditure on publicity as I feel your work should speak, not you. We used social media as a platform to showcase our work and people loved it.

How do you cope with the market?
