IWC INGENIEUR CHRONOGRAPH EDITION “RUDOLF CARACCIOLA”
IWC dedicates this 30mm automatic timepiece to racing driver Rudolf Caracciola, who was crowned European Drivers’ Champion three times in the 1930s. Equipped with Manufacture Calibre 69370, it comes with a leather strap that mirrors the quilted leather upholstery of vintage race cars. This edition further evokes the classic dashboard as the subdials adopt a dual-tone finish similar to that of instrument gauges.
ULYSSE NARDIN DIVER 42MM
The Diver is decidedly an everyday watch by Ulysse Nardin, whose portfolio consists of niche avant-garde creations such as Freak, Hourstriker Phantom and Marine Mega Yacht. The automatic model, powered by the UN-816 movement, strikes the right balance between the old and the new with a vintage-inspired mesh bracelet paired with a modern case and dial with a faux patina finish.
ZENITH CHRONOMASTER 2
Zenith chose the emblematic Chronomaster to inaugurate its new-gen El Primero 3600 calibre and to commemorate 50 years of the definitive El Primero movement. The renamed movement is capable of measuring one-tenth of a second accurately, while offering direct readings on the dial and bezel. Boasting an increased power reserve of 60 hours, the 42mm Chronomaster 2 flaunts a graduated black ceramic bezel, silver sunray-finished dial and a central red chronograph hand with a star-shaped logo as a counter balance. The watch is only sold as part of a 50-piece limited edition anniversary box set that also comprises the El Primero 1969 and Defy El Primero 21.
