Chaumet CEO Jean-Marc Mansvelt shares with Annabel Tan how he creates a strong and passionate company culture
For someone who spends half his time in different time zones, Jean-Marc Mansvelt is surprisingly jovial and chipper. Here on his annual visit to Singapore, the Chaumet CEO speaks animatedly and his energy is infectious. “It’s a lot of fun!” insists the French national when I suggest that all the travelling must be tiring. “I get to meet with my teams everywhere, which is important for them too.”
It soon becomes clear that this enthusiasm is also something he is cultivating in the 239-year-old Parisian jewellery house that was a favourite of Napoleon and Empress Josephine.
