Audi’s well-loved Q5 marque ushers in the fourth quarter of 2017 with power and comfort
A decade since its debut cruise, the Audi Q5 is considered a bestseller in the luxury SUV segment. The smooth way it cruises through both city streets and country roads is a testament to the overall powerful build and performance that SUV fans have come to love. In the face of this reputation, Chairman of the Board of Management at AUDI AG Rupert Stadler admits, “It was no easy task to design its successor, but that is precisely why it is so very exciting.
Now, the latest iteration of the Audi Q5 comes with added driver assistance, spacious interiors, and enhanced mechanical performance.
A uniquely undercut shoulder line makes for a staunch side view. Equally muscular wheel arches wink to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. This robust chassis carries over all the way to the back of the vehicle, blazing a coherently powerful trail supported by the choice of two new engines. The classic rear C-pillars feature a tailgate wrapped around them—proving that the Audi Q5 stays true to the spirit of its forebears. The new kid wears a diffuser insert integrating the SUV’s exhaust tailpipes.
