TAMMIN SURSOK 'FAME IS VERY TRAUMATIC'

With two gorgeous daughters, a very handsome husband and an incredible Hollywood career, you might assume Tammin Sursok’s life is picture-perfect. But that’s the very last thing the former Home and Away actress wants us to think.

“I had an anxiety issue yesterday and I felt really ashamed,” she confesses to New Idea in her most revealing interview ever. “And then I thought if I feel ashamed, I’m sure there are many people out there feeling ashamed right now.”

So after sleeping on it, Tammin did what she has now become famous for doing– she shared her anxiety by taking to Instagram, wearing a “loud, colourful and vibrant” pink dress to celebrate her 38th birthday.

“I used to worry about what people thought of me. Like all the time. It consumed my life and gave me so much insecurity,” she posted.

Of course, Tammin realises it’s probably silly to worry what people think about a dress, but she also knows it’s the little things that can trigger anxiety and wants people to understand her “perfect life” comes with its own baggage.

Tammin shares just about everything with her millions of fans – from her occasional struggles with mental health and mothering to her first gut-wrenching miscarriage – on her very successful podcast, Women On Top.
