SISTER'S VOW: ‘I WON'T STOP UNTIL JANINE IS LAID TO REST'

After spending more than 20 years trying to find out what happened to her sister, Janine Vaughan, Kylie Spelde is taking one of the nation’s most perplexing homicide investigations into her own hands.

The mum of three will play the lead role in a documentary that re-examines the same question her family has been asking since December 7, 2001 – what happened to their beloved Janine?

After an evening out clubbing in the NSW country town of Bathurst, Janine was last seen getting into a red car near a popular nightspot shortly before 4 am.

Despite three police strike forces, a coronial inquest, a Police Integrity Commission inquiry and a $1 million reward offered, the 31-year-old’s body has sadly never been found.

Kylie, who lives in Muswellbrook, NSW, has since been on a relentless quest to uncover the truth about her sister’s fate.
