THE COUPLE'S SEA CHANGE HASN'T BEEN SO GOLDEN
LLEYTON & BEC'S NEW LIFE FALLS APART

It was meant to be the dream move for their family. Late last year, Bec and Lleyton Hewitt upped stumps from Melbourne with their three kids in tow and headed north to the Gold Coast. But cracks are beginning to show, with whispers Bec might be pulled back to Melbourne with their girls.

While Lleyton, 40, and Cruz have taken to life in Queensland like "ducks to water”, a close source suggests that Bec, 38, Mia, 16, and Ava, 11, are still finding their way.

Probably not helping Bec's homesickness, Lleyton has already left his wife in the Gold Coast. Last week, the former Wimbledon and US Open champ was in Sydney with the Australian ATP Cup team, of which he is captain. From there, he'll jet to the family's old stomping ground of Melbourne to lead Channel Nine's coverage of the Australian Open.

"Bec misses her old life and all their friends," says the source. “If it's not working, she will do everything she can to make it right."
