Footage of the Melbourne-based newsreaders talking about tennis star Novak Djokovic's fight to enter the country and compete in the Australian Open was leaked to the media prompting an investigation at the network.
The private conversation, believed to have been held while Mike and Bec prepared to present the 6pm news, saw the pair blasting the world number one as an "a-ehole" and accusing him of faking his border entry form.
