In 2015, the Mississippi-based outdoor brand Mossy Oak branched out with a new, yet natural, an extension of its renowned business, Mossy Oak GameKeeper Kennels. Headquartered in West Point, the kennel is breeding and training a new generation of exquisite hunting dogs and furry companions from imported British Labrador Retrievers hailing from some of the finest bloodlines in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

“Mossy Oak is a company that prides itself on hunting and the preservation and conservation of wildlife,” says Bill Gibson, the kennel’s chief trainer and director of gun dog operations. “To us at Mossy Oak GameKeeper Kennels, the greatest conservation tool that a waterfowl or upland hunter can possess is a great hunting dog. Since upland hunting and waterfowl hunting play such a significant role in our outdoor lifestyle and are part and parcel of our camouflage business, the startup of our gun dog operation was a natural fit for the brand that added a new dimension to our outdoor lifestyle. Our thinking was that it would be nice if everyone could enjoy, as much as we do, owning ‘a hunter’s best friend for life.’”
