MiniArt continue to release kits at a prodigious rate and the quality just keeps getting better. The Tiran 4 SH Early Type (ref. 37021) continues the high standards set by their previous Tiran 4 Late (ref. 37029). The Tiran 4SH was basically the T-54 fitted with a Sharir 105mm gun, along with some other external modifications. The kit contains literally dozens of sprues (although the roadwheels are on individual sprues as are the individual track links) and a complete interior. The same superlatives heaped upon MiniArt&rsquo;s T-54/55 series in general apply equally to this kit. Markings, which are quite limited, are supplied for four IDF vehicles from 1973. The latest T-55 release is the T-55A Late Mod. 1965 (ref. 37022). The T-55A incorporated a complete NBC protection kit (all correctly depicted on the tank&rsquo;s interior) and omitted the bow MG of earlier models. This model incorporates new RMsh tracks and drive sprockets, as well as track tensioning mechanism. The kit also provides options for the external fuel tanks. Markings are provided for three Soviet vehicles, an Ethiopian tank, a Macedonian one and three Afghan vehicles (one Taliban, two Northern Alliance) from 2001-2003. I have said it before, but I think MiniArt&rsquo;s T-54/55 series represent the pinnacle of plastic kit design. They are intricate builds, make no mistake, but the level of detail is stunning and the finished model really looks like it simply needs a slug of diesel to start rolling! Very highly recommended. Perhaps more basic, but just as excellent, is Accessories for Buildings (ref. 35585). This contains a range of accessories and features that will delight scratch builders and diorama modellers alike: lamp posts, lights, doors, window frames, fences and guttering. The moulding is sharp and these will certainly ease many projects at an affordable price. A really good kit that demonstrates MiniArt&rsquo;s genuine commitment to providing modellers with what they want and need. In a similar vein we have Milk Cans with Small Cart (ref. 35580). This contains a small wooden hand cart and three each of four different examples of milk churns. Again, the level of moulding is first class and the versatility of the set speaks for itself.
