Dom Pérignon’s collaboration with star chef Alain Ducasse is the champagne house’s most harmonious pairing yet.

The king of wines adds sparkle to any occasion, but in this case the champagne itself is the cause for celebration. To mark the launch of P2 2000, the venerable house of Dom Pérignon launched a global partnership with world-renowned master chef Alain Ducasse, pairing the balanced boldness of the new vintage and the cuisine of the celebrated Parisian who runs three-Michelin-starred restaurant Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester in London.

“The relationship between Dom Pérignon and Alain Ducasse is a natural one,” says the illustrious brand’s chef de cave, Richard Geoffroy, “because we both share a quest for an aesthetic ideal, a constant search that is both inspired and inspiring.”

What makes this champagne so inspiring, Geoffroy adds, is that P2 2000—the second “plénitude” of the 2000 vintage—explores a heightened expression of Dom Pérignon, and goes further and deeper into the experience.
