How did you get into film production?

I’ve always been passionate about films. I have lived through watching films, right from old classics to the modern innovations. And it has been my ambition to get into filmmaking. I have seen women who are unable to focus on things that matter because they are so taken with their domestic interests. I did not want to be like that. I made up my mind to contribute quality to the film fraternity and stepped into production.

Tell us about Rustom, and the hero of the film, Akshay Kumar?

Well, as they say, when you desire something deeply, it’s the cosmos that conspires and gets it done for you. Rustom came as a blessing and the gods have been very kind. It has a strong background and is inspired by real life incidents. Rustom Pavri has stirred the nation. Akshay Kumar who is playing the hero is a phenomenon. He truly epitomises Rustom and portrays the character so well. He is a dynamo of energy and strength. His prodigious skill is an inspiration to everyone.
