In conjunction with this year’s International Women’s Day, Clarins Malaysia, through its #clarinsallaboutyou contest, celebrated women from all walks of life. We spoke to three inspiring women who embody confidence and the strive for success.
Many stereotypes have been tagged onto women, but in recent years, they’re being proven wrong – from having to be a certain body shape to be deemed beautiful, to performing well at physically challenging jobs. Women from all walks of life are pushing for progress by taking on challenges, breaking boundaries, and going beyond their comfort zone. Female motorsport athlete Leona Chin; plus-size model and performer Bella Rahim; and Sheahnee Iman Lee, a former TV host turned owner of Blokke Malaysia, have made their mark in their own fields by not only challenging stereotypes, but also inspiring other women with their journey.
