La interpretación de Irene Cara como Coco Hernández en el filme de 1980, Fame, fue encriptado en la mente de cada optimista de Hollywood; sin embargo, pocas mujeres sobrevivieron al mundo del espectáculo sin su propia “experiencia Coco”. La mía llegó cortesía de un hombre cuarentón, que me acababa de guiar a través de Disney, donde producía una comedia familiar.
