So many think confidence is innate but in reality, it can be trained. I was taught this a long time ago by a mentor when launching a French luxury fragrance brand. Not being allowed to refer to any notes when presenting made me realise I need to be confident and speak from the heart because passion cannot be memorised.
... BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF LUCK?
To a certain degree, I do believe in luck. Without my mentors who groomed, taught, and nurtured me, I wouldn’t be where I am today. The 80/20 business rule does apply to one’s career as well: 80 percent hard work and 20 percent luck, where you meet good people along the way to help you grow. Of course, a spritz of Maison Christian Dior Lucky never hurts.
