Resident Evil Village is a direct sequel to Resident Evil 7, picking up Ethan Winters’ story three years after his traumatic experience with the psychotic Baker family in Louisiana. He now lives peacefully with his wife Mia and six-month-old daughter Rose. After this domestic bliss gets interrupted by the violent reappearance of one boulder-punching Chris Redfield, Ethan finds himself torn away from his family and thrust into the cold, harsh unknowns of a Gothic European village suffering a monstrous epidemic.
Ethan’s journey pushes him into encounters with the village’s four governing forces, one of whom is the tall, vampiric and frighteningly alluring aristocrat Lady Alcina Dimitrescu.
I’m really surprised at the level of restraint Capcom have displayed in marketing this game, as a good chunk of it (maybe 50-70%) was never shown to the public before release. Dimitrescu is actually one of the first characters you meet, so every new environment and villain introduced after her was a delightful surprise to me. I loved that.

From 'Games' To 'Experiences'
As gaming continues to expand beyond mere "playing" and into the realm of "experiences", it's interesting to take note of all the different avenues that open up along the way. Nowadays, many topshelf games are already navigating towards letting gamers have shared experiences through features such as cross-platform play, global matchmaking, and of course, good old couch co-op.

Making Games More Inclusive And Social
June has been the month that my children look forward to every year, as this is when we usually travel to visit my large family in Australia to spend the school holidays.
Can Apple Make My Dream Mac Now?
My dream Mac is actually very simple. It would be a MacBook Pro with a detachable display. And when you remove the display from the keyboard, it turns into an iPad. Another way to think of it is that it’s an iPad running iPadOS that turns into a Mac running macOS when you attach it to a keyboard.
