Frustration...
HHH Magazine|Fall 2016

Quick sand or Catapult Ugh! Crap! Noooooooooo! Or, some other expletive that may or may not be able to convey the level of crazy, anger, or whatever emotion we experience once we become frustrated.

Frustration...

Sometimes we do not even realize that we are frustrated until we snap at someone or throw something. Life can be full of little frustrations that drive us crazy to the big ones that make us not want to get out of bed.

So is there any way to avoid being frustrated?

Many say no but some say yes. Either way frustration typically is being unable to solve a problem that is required to get us what we ultimately want or desire.

So what so we do with those frustrations? Do we fight it with annoyance and angst? Or do we use it as a catalyst to better things?

I prefer to liken frustration to either quick sand or a catapult. One way drowns us in our own whirlwind of typically negative emotions. Sinking us deeper into the inability to resolve the problem. The other can become channeled kinetic energy that can thrust us closer to where we truly want to be.
