Good health is determined by your abil-ity to use your body and mind for around 10, 20, 30, 40, even 50 years down the line. Despite the current generations having plenty of access to advanced technology, doctors, gyms, books, media, why are the disease statistics so staggering? It is because we have moved way too far from the basics of our living. One may argue that times have changed. And while that is true, the basic requirements of our body and mind have not. And so, going back to the roots inspires one to embrace those powerful traditions and simplicity back into our lives.

Almost every civilisation has a specific set of traditions they lived by, which, if you study closely, speaks volumes about how powerful those habits were because they lived a happy and healthy life until modernisation. Now we have comfort and technology, which is excellent, but it has also slowly started ruling and dictating us and suppressing our rational mind. We slowly started to forget the ancient wisdom our tradition carries and look for evidence-based science and medicine. While this may be required, it is also blinding people to common sense.

What does going Back To Roots mean?

Going back to roots means aligning yourself with the way your ancestors lived, which aligns with nature, including the way we eat, live, think every single aspect of living. Simple basics like chewing food, sitting on the floor to eat, using natural products for hair, the wisdom behind a simple gesture like namaste, the diversity of salts, oils, and natural sweeteners in our own country have all been forgotten.
