You needs you, especially in isolation. It’s more important than ever before to look within and ask yourself – are you hurting? Do you need healing? Whatever may the answer be, we can all get by with some self-love and extra care.

Experiment with these care tips and familiarize with the best self-care ritual suited to your being. Remember, little and often wins the week.

1 SIMPLIFY YOUR SCHEDULE

Start prioritizing what absolutely needs to be done and focus your energy towards doing the best in those. A chock full of schedule with tasks you don’t need to fret about only add to stress and poor performance.

2 PLAN A DIGITAL DETOX

We cannot and won’t stress this enough - unplugging from any type of tech is the most rewarding ritual your mind, soul and body could use in this digital-dominant life. For those whose jobs revolve around digital media, fixing a certain day in a month or just the weekend to detach digitally is a good way to get you feeling fresh and back on track.

3 STRETCH

Take a pause and stretch. Feel your body. Let the creative juices flow. Not only does stretching improve blood circulation but also soothes your eyes and sedentary muscles.

4 PRACTICE MEDITATION

Every wellness aficionado’s holy grail, meditation brings undivided focus and discipline to your life. Helps reduce stress, control anxiety, boosts self-awareness, improves the immunity, and helps lengthen attention span. There’s really no downside to incorporating meditation in your life.

5 WRITE YOUR TO-DOS

Psychologically speaking, penning down your to-dos will make your mind more organized and deem the tasks more achievable. A visionary outlet helps you keep motivated as well.

6 TRACK YOUR DIET

Keeping track of your eating habits such as what you’re consuming and when you’re consuming is a good start to taking care of your body and skin. By realizing your diet habits, you’ll feel more in control of your body.

7 DECLUTTER

Whether it’s your workstation being a mess or someone from your friend circle, declutter which does not serve your purpose. We often limit it to our possessions but emotionally decluttering is just as important. Protect your vibe and omit people or relations that are taking a toll on any part of your life.

8 CREATE YOUR FUTURE SELF

Pin it down. Even if you don’t think it’s possible, pin it down. Take ten minutes out of your daily routine and picture the best, highest version of yourself that you want to be. By doing so, you’ll stay encouraged and in spirit to achieve all your visions.
