Neha Sharma Can't take my eyes off you

If you could say it in words then there would be no reason to paint.” It was with Edward Hopper’s famous words that we looked for an artist who knew how to say everything without uttering a word. The painter inside the bubbly actor, Neha Sharma fitted the bill to perfection, even more than we had asked for. (She’s painted a fab abstract for us and we keep it on full display for inspiration).

Sharma ji has twice already been on the FHM cover, and we couldn’t have been more excited to bring her back, especially this time in a never-seen before avatar. With Taras going about clicking different angles, our beautiful cover girl moved and swayed in the smoothest of ways, creating paintings within frames within frames... an endless Inception-like loop that gave away the finest results. Yes, there was mess, as there was laughters and fun. The upcoming pages capture them all, though in an aesthetic restrain... something that we kinda lost while chatting with her. We hope you wouldn’t mind an occassional faltering of ethics as we try our best (but terribly fail) at taking our eyes off her...

Hey! How was the shoot?

I loved it. It was very different from the other two times I shot for FHM. This time, there was a unique concept, a story to it. When I saw the mood board I was really excited. I was to play an artist, and it was a challenging thing. Taras and Dhruv took it to another level while executing and it was really great! I’m very excited about the cover and would be waiting to pick it up from the stands.

We’re glad that you liked it. With your diploma in fashion designing, you are an artist yourself. Do you paint as well?
