Times have changed a lot, and it is evident from a lot of things which we use and see in our day to day life.

The Current State Of Supercars & Superbikes In India

I belong to a generation that probably has seen most of the transition in a lot of industries. For example, TVs have become flat and smart now from being inside wooden boxes with black and white CRT screens; if you remember one, you would remember adjusting the antenna to a clear reception. Cameras have gone digital allowing you to shoot literally infinite images from the 36 exposure rolls. Similarly, it went from being phones with small displays to phones with the entire front as a display. Times have changed a lot indeed. What has also changed are the vehicles, how they were and how they are now. But, we will get there later.

How many of you remember riding an Ambassador car, or possibly a Fiat Padmini? Some lucky ones just might have had the chance to ride around on a Contessa even. Mind you, vehicles like BMWs and Mercedes were still existent in our country at that point in time, forty years back in the past. However, they were like the cream on the top and only a few lucky handfull of people could afford, buy and maintain them luxury cars. For most of us, childhood has been around the HM Ambassador, be it a family car or a family trip on a rental car.
