Here’s an equation for you, Samsung + 5G + 750G Processor. Now you may think that this phone undoubtedly, must be between Rs 30,000 to 35,000. But you’ll be wrong. Samsung has surprised all of us with a smartphone having all these features in around Rs. 20,000. Now that’s a straight win in my book.
However, before we drown Samsung in praise, is this phone as good as it sounds? Is there more to this phone other than impressive specs? Well, worry no more; here’s all you need to know about Samsung M42 5G.
What’s Inside?
We have a 15-watt charger, USB Type-A to Type-C cable, some documentation, and the device itself inside the box. There is no clear case within the phone, which kind of feels like a missed opportunity. There are no earphones inside the box either, but the phone does come with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Design And Features
Let’s quickly take a look at the device itself. You’ll get volume rockers, speaker grill, headphone jack, power button, and two mics, one below and above the machine. The device has a glossy finish, so it’ll attract a lot of fingerprints. Overall, the phone weighs around 190g, but it feels very light in the hands. Its weight distribution is excellent thanks to its bigger-than-average size.
Speaking of the display, it comes with a 6.62-inch screen, HD+ super AMOLED screen. It is not FHD+ which is an obvious cost-cutting by Samsung. Nonetheless, it is a great screen to look at. You only get a 60hz panel on this phone, which kind of feels a bit outdated at this point.
