That said, these are the best PS5 games dropping this summer:
GOD OF WAR: RAGNAROK
Kicking off this list is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and beloved games belonging to the PlayStation legacy. Spanning across all forms of PS, including the PlayStation Portable and the rather unimpressive PlayStation Vita, the God of War franchise has racked up a steady and die-hard following over the years. The upcoming Ragnarok will be the ninth installment and a direct sequel to 2018’s God of War. It is expected to continue Kratos’s journey with his son Atreus to fulfil his long and rather complicated quest. God of War: Ragnarok is expected to be launched by the mid of 2021.
FAR CRY 6
Another one of the most beloved franchises in gaming history, Far Cry has steadily provided players with ever expanding maps, intriguing storylines and immersive gameplay. Since Ubisoft teased Far Cry 6 in 2020, fans have continuously been digging around for more information. So far we know that the game is set in the tropical island of Yara, a fictional country in the Caribbean. The player controls Yaran Dani Rojas, a guerilla fighter who is leading a resistance against the oppressive regime of a dictator Anton Castillo. Considering the history of Far Cry games, it can be safely assumed that the game will offer a vast, expansive open world with adaptive gameplay mechanics, compelling quests and challenging missions. Ubisoft should launch the game by mid of 2021.
Deviating from mainstream titles that belong to some legendary franchises in gaming history, Returnfall is an upcoming game by Housemarque that puts the player in the shoes of a lone astronaut caught up in a rogue surrounding on hostile planets. With each death, the planet seems to change, indicating that the player will have to adapt to different scenarios and situations to proceed. While the mechanics aren’t clear yet, it is expected to be a third-person shooter and will feature some fast-paced combat and advanced gadgetry. Since its trailer that debuted during the Future of Gaming showcase, the intrigue around this game has only increased and people are anticipating its March release with eagerness.

IN-GAME VEHICLES WE WISH WERE REAL
Videogames never fail to transport us to a world that is far beyond our reach, yet controllable by the tips of our fingers (quite literally). While open-world games offer a vast, new lifestyle to explore, they also give us a taste of some unique vehicles. Well, calling them vehicles would be an understatement as these perform so many more tasks than just commute, but they’re some uber-cool pieces of machinery nevertheless. That said, here are some of the coolest in-game vehicles that we would love to test-ride!
BEST VIDEO GAME FRANCHISES OVER THE YEARS
Ever since gaming has reached the digital age, there have spawned numerous titles and franchises across the globe. While some were just one-trick ponies or got lost in the sands of time, there were others who cemented their names in history as some of the best video games. These also led to the rise of multiple franchises, who have since gone on to become multibillion-dollar industries in themselves. Following is a list of such video game franchises who have only grown bigger as the years have passed:
