From art and design to home appliances and furniture it’s clear that there is so much affluence in the world of fashion. Designers have created cars the most daring yet under the radar collaborations that exist in the industry today. In spite of the fact that they are distinctly rare in a contemporary setting, there is as yet a storied and rich history of “designer vehicles” that powered attention way before fashion entities started together to fan the flares of publicity.
BEST OF FASHION AND AUTOMOTIVE COLLABORATIONS

While car launches happen to be a part of automobiles fairs but seem not to be a new thing in. So, from haute couture to sportswear lines we have the best examples of fashion and automotive collaboration till date.

1988 PAUL SMITH MINI ROVER

A 1988 collaboration with the fashion designer Paul Smith with the Rover Mini was limited to just 1800 units in the worldwide. It’s based on the Mini Cooper features leather trim, a gold-plated bonnet badge and lime green accents in the boot, glovebox and on the rocker cover.

2007 LAMBORGHINI MURCIÉLAGO LP640 VERSACE

It was in 2006 Paris Motor Show that the Italian house Versace’s take on Murciélago was unveiled. The Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 Versace is one of the rarest limited edition of Lamborghinis that are ever produced. Powered by a 6.5-liter V12 that produces 640 hp at 6000rpm, the interior courtesy of the car is the Versace designers with two-toned Versace nappa leather, Versace’s distinct emblem, roof panel and the seats made of distinctive Versace Greek fret motif.
