What Was Your Childhood Like Having Grown Up in a Glamorous Industry? 

Growing up within the glamour industry puts you in a position where the fame associated with glamour can affect you whether you are at the centre of it or not. That's an early insight enjoyed by a privileged few. My upbringing was pretty sheltered. I can see now that my parents made it a point to keep me away from it as a child, so that I may have a 'normal' upbringing. While it wasn't entirely normal, it was nor very different from an average middle class kid in a big city.

Having the “Deol” Name Attached to You Brings Baggage. How Easy or Difficult Was It to Penetrate the Industry and Create a Niche? 

Everyone comes with some sort of 'baggage' if you want to call it that. However, you pointed out the one thing that is difficult, that of carving your own niche. If you have a family member in the business before you, you are automatically compared. It's logical to do so, which makes it that much more difficult. At the same time, it is possible to use the same to your advantage as well. Things have a way of balancing themselves out.
