Looking the part
Essex Life|February 2020
This month promises a real treat for the fashionistas of the county’s ‘Golden Triangle’. London Fashion Week is opening its doors to the general public and there’s no doubt that the designer set from Chigwell, Epping and Loughton will be lining the catwalks

Looking the part

If Essex is anything, it is a county where appearance matters!

‘Essex is famous for its stylish men and glamorous ladies!’ confirms Anouska Georgia, jewellery designer to the fashion-conscious of our county and beyond, but who has a particular following among the snappy dressers of the ‘Golden Triangle’ defined by Chigwell, Epping, Loughton and all well-turned out points in between.

‘A lot of people around here are very interested in fashion and are heavily influenced by high street or designer looks,’ says Anouska. ‘Definitely, our corner of Essex is particularly stylish.’

Anouska is just one of the many Golden Triangle trendspotters who will be rushing to this month’s London Fashion Week to pick up the latest looks before they hit the high street.

‘My brand, Anouska Georgia London, is strongly influenced by the catwalk, as am I!’ she says. ‘I love fashion, so at London Fashion Week I’ll be looking out for the next big thing and I’ll aim to recreate that in my 2020 semi-fine jewellery collections.’

Ashish, Victoria Beckham and Richard Quinn are among Anouska’s favourite designer influences, so this year’s show is right up her street as all three will be among the big names showing their new looks on the catwalk. Also unveiling their new creations at London Fashion Week 2020 will be Amanda Wakeley, Richard Malone, House of Holland, Fashion East, Emilia Wickstead, Paul Costelloe, Burberry, Mark Fast and Yuhan Wang, as part of a mix of emerging designers, heritage labels and internationally recognized fashion houses.
