1. VISTAS CELESTIALES EN WATCHMAN TRAIL
El centro de visitantes del parque nacional Zion es más que un museo o una estación para rellenar botellas de agua. Sirve como punto de partida para recorrer varios senderos. Si bien las caminatas al pie de la entrada no son las más populares, algunas ofrecen vistas gloriosas sin hordas de gente ni necesidad de tomar un autobús para comenzar la caminata.
Watchman Trail es uno de estos senderos, especialmente atractivo al atardecer, cuando se asoman los pájaros y la puesta de sol pinta de colores el valle. La ruta es linear (ida y vuelta por el y mismo camino) y tiene poco más de 5 kilómetros. La distancia es apenas considerable, pero los más de 100 metros de ganancia de altura bastan para tener vistas panorámicas del cañón de Zion.
