Turn Weekends into Family Fun Nights
Eclectic Northeast|September 2020
Here are some easy and interesting games that will keep you and your family entertained

It’s the weekend and you have nowhere to go or be, don’t just wedge out in front of the television, get your family together and play a few games. You will be able to bond with each other and it will also help you take your mind off any kind of stress or pressure you may have been feeling in the past few weeks. These games are simple for everyone to understand and enjoy. You don’t need any fancy equipment, only a few require standard items like pencils/pens and paper, or a standard deck of playing cards, that you will easily find at home.

Two Truths and one Lie

This game is quite simple. You can play with 3-6 players. All the players sit in a circle and then pick one player to go first. That player will have to state three facts about themselves; two will be true facts while one will be made up. The other players will need to guess which one is the lie. The players can decide to make it as easy or hard as they like. The player who guesses correctly wins a point. The first player to reach 10 points will be named winner. The game allows you to get close to one another and also brings out the laughs.
