Low Impact, Big Benefits

#1 Yoga

This low-impact workout can be done at any age and stage, regardless of one’s fitness level. From improved strength, balance and flexibility, to reduced stress levels, back pain relief, enhanced heart health, better sleep and mood-boosting qualities, the benefits of this ancient practice are practically endless.

In fact, certain asanas (yoga poses) can target specific areas of the body and help with certain conditions. For instance, the “Cow Face Pose” can help relieve shoulder and back pain, while also giving the lower-body limbs a good stretch; the “Dolphin Pose” relieves headaches and back pain while stretching the shoulders, hamstrings and calves; and the “Lotus Pose” can help ease menstrual cramps, among other benefits.

Rohit Mistry, Senior Yoga Instructor, TFX Pacific Plaza

As I grow older, yoga has not only helped me become stronger and more flexible, but it has also given me the best tools to manage my mental health.

With four dedicated yoga studios, TFX Pacific Plaza offers a wide range of all-day classes. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced practitioner, you’ll definitely experience progress here. To strike a balance between the physical yang-style classes, we also offer a range of meditative yin-style classes that are more contemplative.

Our teachers have been teaching at TFX Pacific Plaza for over a decade and through the years have built a strong student-mentor relationship, guiding everyone in their progressive pursuits to become better yoga practitioners.

Rohit’s top five reasons to practise yoga

#1 Improves mental health with breathing and mindfulness techniques

#2 Enhances range of motion
