Nighthawk Custom Kestrel

It is one thing to say you own a 1911, and quite another to enjoy the finished lines and smooth operation of a custom 1911. When looking for a pistol worthy of gracing the cover of concealed carry hand guns, the decision to settle on nighthawk custom came with a few challenges. Not the gun itself of course nighthawk custom is nearly unparalleled among its peers. However, with custom grade guns, there is always the challenge of availability versus production schedules.

After all, ordering a custom pistol is, by definition, not an off-the shelf affair. Then, there was the audience to consider. Sadly, few of us will ever have the means to afford a custom-grade pistol. Then again, few of us will ever win the lottery, yet we still buy a ticket, and dreaming is free. However, while a Nighthawk Custom will run you more than a little pocket change, it is not truly a lottery dream that is out of reach. Even for those with a modest income, with a little planning and saving, a custom gun can be in your hands. Whether or not you or I will ever drop the coin necessary to own a Nighthawk Custom, the artisan touches, attention to detail, performance, and handling of a custom pistol have value by setting a great benchmark by which all other handguns in the safe may be judged.

IT’S HISTORY

Nighthawk’s genus dates back to 2004. The humble beginning was based on humble guns, primarily M1911s, mostly chambered for the ever-popular .45 ACP. While humble, the fit and accuracy of even those early guns gained immediate notoriety. The rest is just history.
