Are you constantly dining al desko? If you’re the kind of person who rarely takes a lunch break and chows down over your keyboard while typing, you could actually be doing yourself way more harm than good.

“We’re made to work in cycles; activity time then recovery time. Without recovery time, our stress hormones keep going up and up,” says Adele Sinclair, founder of Wellness at Work Australia (wellnessatwork.com.au). “We need to take a break to shift focus, get away from the desk and recharge our body and brain, ready for the afternoon ahead.” And we agree, which is why we put together the following lunchspo list to boost productivity, improve energy levels and de-stress.
