Udayan and Chetali met through mutual friends in 2012 while they were in neighbouring colleges in Mumbai. They spent most of their time together, and grew closer over time. Seven years into the relationship, Udayan planned a romantic proposal for Chetali at the Dome, InterContinental, Mumbai, and she said “I do”.
