“We met on Hinge, a dating app, three years ago. Imaad was drawn to my story about how a bear broke into my family car during a camping trip, to steal biryani. We had our first date a few days later. Imaad told me later that as I walked in and he laid his eyes on me, he knew I was going to be his wife.”
The Proposal
“Imaad planned quite the special evening for us. He told me that he was invited to a Christmas party, and asked if I would join. As we arrived on the terrace of the venue, I saw rose petals scattered across the floor, our favourite song was playing in the background, and a pathway of lit candles guided us to a table. And it was decorated with screenshots of the very first conversation we had on Hinge.”
