Profile: Abhishek heads the Passives Business for Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC and is responsible for setting up the foundation & the strategic roadmap for the company in this area. As a part of Alternatives Business vertical of the Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd, he also drives the business strategy initiative for the Alternatives vertical of the AMC.
In his previous role as Head – Products, he was instrumental in creating and providing a strong platform of high-quality product solutions and communications for the investors & distribution partners as well as delivery of these solutions through various centers of Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd’s across geographies.
Abhishek brings with him over 20 years of rich experience in asset management & investment advisory services across sales, business development, new geography development, products and strategy. He has been with Aditya Birla Group since June 2001.
In addition to his responsibilities at ABSLAMC, he also works with other businesses at Aditya Birla Capital including Life & Health Insurance, Project Finance, and Real Estate Advisory to develop alternative products & bundles for Aditya Birla Capital investors. In his earlier roles at ABSLAMC, he has been instrumental in developing Offshore Funds business in Dubai & Singapore as well as Institutional business in North India and establishing retail presence for the AMC in key centers in East India.
Abhishek completed his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with Honors and holds a Masters in Business Administration.
