It’s hard to ignore the memorable times we’ve shared crowding around the living room television set with our families. Whether it was watching our favourite TV shows or catching a movie together, it was a time of bonding. And this was no different in the Huber household as Andre Huber was growing up.

“Watching TV together really brought the family closer. I remember fondly how we would watch Wheel of Fortune, and try to solve the puzzles together. It was our nightly bonding session,” the executive director for Huber’s Butchery says.

A CLOSE WATCH

The benefits of watching TV as a family are well documented over the years. A recent study by Lancaster University in 2019 found that families who work together to choose which TV packages to have within their home, who learn together how to use the ever-evolving technologies in their TVs, who plan what and when they will watch together, and who meaningfully discuss their viewing experiences, will derive more value from their TV sets and subscription.
