There are a few things you could almost bet your house on around this time of year. The Bank Holiday in August will always have featured an interest-free sofa sale, there will be queues at the school uniform shop but most importantly this publication will be full of the forthcoming excitement of the Surrey Life Food and Drink Awards.
The annual event is now a mainstay in the culinary calendar across the county. It is a true celebration of our area and is increasingly relevant as we all seem to be becoming more concerned about the provenance of our food. For anyone new to Surrey or just visiting, the awards also provide a great way to get to know the place – albeit via your stomach!
