Please share how the idea of doing business in lighting was conceived.
As we know, necessity is the mother of innovation. At Syska, we are constantly gauging consumer needs and trying to best match those with solutions that help solve their problems. Earlier, there used to exist standard light bulbs, tubelights and compact fluorescent lamps (CFL’s). The market for light-emitting diode (LED) lighting options was limited in India. We saw this as an interesting opportunity and immediately took the first step of introducing LED lighting products into the Indian market. Through our pioneering work in the LED lighting industry, we have also been at the forefront of new innovations. Today, our product portfolio not only includes regular LED lights but also encompasses smart lighting options. With a keen focus on helping protect the environment, we have also introduced ecofriendly LED lights that are low in energy consumption and don’t emit harmful UV or infrared radiation.

AR CHRISTOPHER BENNINGER CREATES RS 700 CR SASSOON HOSPITAL PLAN | PUNE
Veteran architect Christopher Benninger has created an ambitious Rs 700 Cr plan for the redevelopment of Sassoon Hospital, Pune out of which Rs 100 Cr has already been sanctioned by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar for the initial phase. According to the hospital authorities, the Master Plan is created to develop the hospital for the next hundred years. The plan was submitted to the state and the phase-wise development will commence with the construction of hostels for postgraduate doctors and nurses.
