Space Condominium apartment
Location Sengkang
Reno period 12 weeks
Home to A couple in their 30s and their three cats
Budget $120k
Since trying their hand at designing their first home, the Ngs had gained greater confidence in their interior tastes and were keen to express them in their new place, a 1,200sq ft resale four-bedroom condominium apartment in Fernvale. While light tones dominated their previous BTO flat, the couple now had the daring to experiment with a duskier palette.
Their brief, which also included the need for cat-friendly features for their feline family, a walk-in wardrobe, and an altar area, was presented to senior designer Rei Ye and design principal Vincent Goi at ARKHILITE. Rei’s design proposals underwent several revisions as she suggested a slew of spatial configurations to the clients, but also because of additional vetting by the couple’s fengshui master.
